Photos With Friends

After lockdown I was raring to get back into action.

As soon as lockdown was lifted I was raring to get back into the action. Luckily my wonderful friend Grace came to the rescue and booked me to capture some photos of her gorgeous family. Including their fur baby!

They were a dream to shoot and it was great to have a good catch up to boot!

Deliciously Delia

Way, way, waaaay back at the start of the year Laura and Ollie invited me to their place to take some snaps and capture their beautiful girl, Delia. We played with some balloons, flew in the garden and had some lunch (it may have gotten messy)!

Taking photos of babies eating is so.much.fun. The mess aside it’s a great chance to take photos of your everyday and get those reactions from your little one.

I’m now back shooting outdoors, and I can’t wait to see you soon!

Getting Back To It.

Gosh, it’s been a while. How is everyone holding up? The last few months have been, well, interesting, eventful. But then at the same time, for some of us completely uneventful too.

Firstly I hope you’re all staying safe and well. In the Tribe household we’ve been managing lockdown, juggling childcare responsibilities, playing in the garden and enjoying our daily walks out to the harbour or the local park. Though I’m grateful we’re allowed out more now. Charlie is a very (very!) active 16 month old and loves nothing more than venturing up or down a steep incline.

I’m happy to say now things are easing a little and because Charlie is heading back to nursery (hurrah) I’m able to get out again and start taking photos!

I’ll be adapting my style and practise to the guidelines and although we are allowed inside people’s home I shall bit sticking to outdoor shoots for the time being. These can on your doorstep, in your garden, maybe the park or somewhere else outside. I’ll also be wearing a face covering during the duration of your shoot and staying 1-2 metres away. Otherwise the rest remains the same!

I’m excited to get out there and see you hopefully, very soon.

Fun At Home

Way back in August 2019 (gosh that feels like a long time ago now doesn’t it) I was invited to come and take some photos of Charlie’s mate, Seb.

Seb was (and still is!) the most smiliest of little boys. He was a little camera shy to begin with but, before I knew it he was posing away and was a total natural in front of the camera.

I love the colours in these photos and how the jumper roo and plastic balls pop in the shots. This is why when I come to take your photos I’ll ask if you have any colourful blankets, I think it really lifts the picture and adds great depth.

Looking forward to seeing you soon Seb!

Woodland Shoot

If you go down to the woods today (or Autumn 2019), you might find a photographer lying on the floor…Yes, those are the lengths I go to to ‘get-the-shot’.

I had a brilliant time hanging out with baby Willow back in 2019. We spent a few hours down at the Westonbirt Arboretum amongst the autumn leaves. The colours were stunning and the weather held off long enough for us to capture some great photos that I hope they cherish forever.

Welcome

Hello.

Thanks for popping by and welcome to Sam Tribe Photography. I’m so excited to be here and I can’t wait to work with you.

It’s been a BIG year for the Tribes, we’ve had a baby, been renovating a house in South Bristol and now I’m launching my photography business. Seems like I’m not very good at relaxing...

I’ve had the best fun, building my portfolio and working with a variety of gorgeous families in Bristol. And now I want to work with you!

As a new business I’m keen to expand my portfolio, so I’m offering my packages at special introductory prices for families who book before the end of March. Pregnancy shoots are £50, newborn shoots will be £75 and family shoots are £125. You can find more information about these packages on the ‘Packages & Prices’ tab.

If you don’t see a package that takes your fancy, let me know and we’ll design something bespoke.

Any questions, give me a call or send me an email!

See you soon,

Sam x
